I came across a new album by a band I have been listening to for a while.....INGESTED. They just released The Tide of Death and Fractured Dreams. I was sitting here jamming it and it came to track 7, In nothingness, and I was very surprised to see who guest appears on it. Hint: Some peeps to which I admire and respect a great deal! 🤘 Check it out and see what I mean!

What's up Everyone? I wanted to post about my experience after the Friday night show on 12 May. To say that I have been waiting a long time to see Chimaira live is an outragous understatement. There was no way I was going to miss out on this one. I flew into Cleveland from Dallas, TX on the day of the show and was picked up by an old friend of mine that lives in Ohio and we drove to a local brewery called Fat Head's and sampled some Bone Head Imperial Red Ale - 9% ABV. I thought it was great so I ordered two rounds. 😁 After we left Fat Head's, we drove to the venue to check it out. After cheking out the Agora, we went and secured a hotel room and started pre-gaming for the show. The show itself was ALL I hoped it would be. The two opener bands were pretty cool and I somehow caught a pick from the guitarist in Integrity. I almost had a Chimaira pick but it fell into this girl's hair that was sitting in front of me and she wasn't allowing me to dig to find it lol. I wish I could have had a chance to meet the band but it wasn't in my cards unfortunately. I did happen to literally bump into Chris Adler in the parking lot after the show and I thought that was pretty cool. 🤟 I picked up a poster signed by the band, a hoodie, and a TIOR 20 shirt. The merch was awesome and I had a hard time picking out what I wanted. If any of you want to purchase any of it, it's available here: https://chimaira.indiemerch.com Here are a few pics of the show. I did notice that MFA had some issues with his rig during the show but he was able to get it going again and didn't miss a beat. Watching the whole band jam the entire TIOR record was KILLER! You can see MFA talking to his tech about the rig here. Killer pic. Rob playing one of my favorite axes in his inventory. 🤟 Another KILLER shot! Rob is fucking it up right here while sporting the approiate shirt for the occasion. 😁 Rob is really FEELING it! 🤟🎸

I just finished watching the 2nd installment of the Chimaira Live Show on Twitch and I loved every second of it! @samuraijake93, I saw you in there and it was a JAM! If any of you were not aware, check out the Chimaira channel on Twitch this weekend to see some exclusive live footage of Chimaira rehearsal for the upcoming "Impossibility" shows in May.

I have somehow managed to locate, negotiate, and purchase an RA-600. It was pretty miraculous how it came to be and I couldn't be happier with it. It will be in good company (as seen below) and definitely in good hands. To be an owner of one of these elusive beauties plus, getting to hear an early release of Magnitude, is SO FU@KING SWEET! 🤘🤘 I must not fail to mention, after listening to Magnitude a few times now, the tone you have on Conscious Shock during the rhythm chugging is SO KILLER!! The way the mutes ring out with that low end saturation to me is the best tone you can achieve. 🎸🤘 Damn dude, the album, as a whole, is SO good and SO refreshing!! This is the BEST week I've had in a LONG time!

I went out last weekend to buy new strings and came back with a guitar. It's funny how that works but I saw this being labeled and hung up for sale and I immediately grabbed it. Not too bad for $500 out the door with an ESP case. It did have a Seymour Duncan in place of the EMG-81 and I rectified that situation real quick! After the swap back to the EMG and putting some new strings on, this thing sounds and plays SWEET!! 🤘

I received these 2 gems in the mail today but do not plan to unseal them. I have the digital edition of the new "Pass Out" and I'm jamming that as I type this. Totally digging the Remixes so far man! I just finished the "Taste my..." track and now my neck hurts. 🤘

Hope everyone is having a great week! Mine has just ended and my weekend has started so I am doing what I usually do when no one is home and I have adult beverages. JAM! I thought I would share what I am currently jamming on and open it up to any other bands you guys are currently listening to. Cheers and have a GROOVY weekend! 🍺🤘 The band I am blasting right now is Suicide Silence. They have a record called Become the Hunter that came out in 2020. It is a JAM for sure. Anyway, here is the track I am on called The Scythe. ENJOY!! 🤘🤘 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikv3wijMcKA

Just wanted to send a quick shout out to the new release, Immutable from Meshuggah. As soon as I saw the title, I was intrigued. This is some of the best material I have heard from them. If you're already a fan, you will definitely dig it. If you're not, maybe you will be after giving it a listen.

I have been jamming on this album since it came out back in 1995 and I have only met one other person who knows of them. Listening to it now makes me realize how far recording and mixing have come since then. But at the same time, the riffs still hold up today and this record is amazing in that respect for any metal guitarist. Anyone else ever hear this band from Kentucky? http://www.leviathanrecords.com/fullcircle.htm

In Introduce Yourself!
What's up everyone! My name is Adrian, 47, and I live in Fort Worth, Texas. I am retired from the US Air Force and working towards a second retirement in aviation. I have been playing rhythm guitar off and on for many years and I also spend my time tinkering around on my '68 Camaro out in the garage when time permits. I have been a HUGE Chimaira fan since around '02-'03. I've been a metal head my whole life and especially since hearing the Master of Puppets album for the first time. The way James played on that record actually pushed me to learn how to play guitar. I grew up listening to Metallica, Sepultura, Slayer, Meshuggah, Pantera and bands like that. When I first heard Chimaira, I was instantly hooked because as far as I am concerned, Chimaira is the best RIFF band I ever heard and I love to groove to super heavy palm muted riffs. As soon as Impossibility dropped, I was completely hooked and that CD lived in my truck until it was replaced with the self-titled album. Rob, your creativity is amazing and MUCH appreciated in the way you write and construct your tunes. I obviously give credit to the whole band because it took the whole band to produce that awesome sound and make each song jam as much as they do. I was (and still am) really bummed when I found out the band wasn't going to stay together and I am even MORE bummed that I never got the chance to catch a show! Anyway, it's awesome to be here and I hope everyone is finally coming out of their COVID bunkers for good and enjoying the sunshine again! Cheers! 🍻
